Disturbing New Statistics on Productivity – or Lack Thereof

The value of organization and productivity: according to a recent study by the Brother International Corporation we are wasting TONS of time at work.

In case you were wondering about the value of organization and productivity:

According to a recent study by the Brother International Corporation (they make the labelmakers that I recommend), an estimated 76 hours per working person each year are lost as a result of disorganization in the workplace! This includes time spent looking for items around their desk or office or looking for files they can’t find on their computers.

Additionally, according to Brother, millions of dollars are wasted each year on time spent looking for misplaced items in the office and on the computer, which obviously impacts the bottom line for businesses of all sizes.

Brother has helpfully put together a list of organizing and productivity stats along with other organizational insights. Definitely worth checking out!
